Moss stones, also know as moss rocks have many different  uses. Indoor landscape projects which need a ground cover to fill in planter boxes and/or plants look great with moss stone / moss rock in either natural looking green, dark green, or green with a black bottom. Moss stone / moss rock also come in other colors, such as  fushia, blue, purple, and yellow.

Moss stone can be placed inside plant containers to cover the dirt, and help to prevent moisture loss.  Moss rock create a contemporary, natural look.  They add a vibrant look to displays, in storefront windows and display cases.  Moss stone look great in vases, holding  stems and grasses in place.  Candles sitting on plates and in bowls look very stylish surrounded by moss stones. These colorful rocks look fantastic in centerpieces and table decorations.

Moss is used for multiple purposes, but most of all it is used  to cover the dirt in tropical plants, trees, and floral arrangements.  It is a very natural looking ground cover, and helps keep the moisture from evaporating from the soil.
There are also different kinds of moss.  Green moss is very life-like, and comes in sheets, which you can  pull apart to fit the size that you need.  It has a grassy appearance, and it looks  the most natural on plants, just as if it was grown there.  There is also fiber moss, which is a loose, gnarly type fiber which can be pulled apart easily, and can be built up as needed.  It comes in gray or a soft green, and it comes from recycled wood.
Moss is used by interior landscapers as a ground cover and also to help disburse the water.  It adds a fresh new look to old plants, as well as new ones.
